Seahawks face possible weather mayhem in 2012

New York Jets quarterback Tim Tebow won acclaim for his
surprising performances last season leading the Denver
Broncos. He faces new challenges playing in the Big Apple.
But Tebow might have more to worry about than the New York
media circus. He could find out it rains in Seattle.
The high profile quarterback’s new team visits
Seattle in November and a meteorologist with The Weather
Channel ranks that game in the top ten of potential ‘worst
weather games for 2012.’
In his article, senior meterologist
Jonathan
Erdman writes: “November is the wettest month of the year
in Seattle. To be fair, Seattle’s wet reputation may be a
bit unfair. It’s a light rain more often than a soaker.
However, this may pose a problem for New York’s
quarterback duo (Mark Sanchez) who have both struggled
with accuracy.”
Erdman ranks the Seahawks-Jets game as potentially the
sixth worst weather game this season. The game in which
weather has the most potential to create
mayhem is Philadelphia at New York, on Dec. 30.
Erdman is also impressed with the potential for
harsh weather late in the season for the Seahawks when
they visit Chicago and Toronto, where they will play Buffalo, and host three divisional
games in December.
