We are right back at it after a full day yesterday which ended with what easily was the best Cactus League Report ever. Standing room only and barely at that as guest after guest joined Rick Rizzs, Mike Blowers, Ken Levine and me on the stage at the Salty Senorita. Jack Zduriencik, Justin Smoak, Trayvon Robinson, Jesus Montero, Tom Wilhelmsen, Alex Liddi and Jim Caple of ESPN.com all joined us and if you missed it you can listen to the show on the podcast. A great evening. Thanks to all who came out.

If that wasn’t enough fun, the Mariners have released their 2012 commercials which you can watch here. I have only seen them once but this group of commercials looks like a winner to me. Felix stretches his acting chops, there is a Larry Bernandez appearance of sorts, Ackley is featured very well in a very Ackley manner, Brendan Ryan is a crack up and Ichiro deadpan works nicely. What do you think?

Moving on…Today we travel to Maryvale to watch the Mariners take on the Brewers. The Mariners will see the Brewers again on Friday in Tucson, where Felix Hernandez will make the start and Jesus Montero will catch him. Montero has been getting a good look behind the plate, not just with innings but also in the opportunity to catch different pitchers. The consensus still is that he will mainly DH this season but he is getting in good work down here and the Mariners will continue to give him the chance to let the glove catch up with the bat.

Lineup!

Ackley 4
Wells 9
Carp 7
Smoak 3
Montero 2
Peguero DH
Seager 5
Saunders 8
Kawasaki 6
