The Mariners have Mike Freeman starting at third base for the third game of their series in Oakland, giving Kyle Seager the day off in the 1:05 contest on 710 ESPN Seattle.
Seattle also has Guillermo Heredia in left field and Jarrod Dyson in center field for the second straight day, keeping Leonys Martin on the bench.

With Seager, who is hitting .233 with no home runs and 11 RBIs in 18 games, not in his customary No. 5 spot in the lineup, shortstop Taylor Motter will hit fifth, with first baseman Danny Valencia hitting sixth and Heredia seventh. Dyson will lead off with a right-hander pitching for the A’s.
On the mound, Ariel Miranda will start for the Mariners against Oakland’s Jharel Cotton.
Pregame coverage begins at noon.
