Washington’s 2012 football schedule released

Washington’s 2012 football schedule includes three non-Saturday games, including the Nov. 23 Apple Cup in Pullman.

Schedules for all Pac-12 teams were announced Wednesday. The Huskies’ is highlighted by road games against the top-ranked LSU Tigers (Sept. 8) and Rose Bowl champion Oregon Ducks (Oct. 6), as well as home games against Stanford (Sept. 27) and USC (Oct. 13).

The Stanford game is on a Thursday. Washington plays at California on Nov. 17, a Saturday, then at Washington State on Friday, Nov. 23, the day after Thanksgiving.

For the second straight season, Washington won’t play UCLA or Arizona State.

All of Washington’s home games will be played at CenturyLink Field due to the Husky Stadium renovation. All 13 games will be televised per the Pac-12’s new TV deal.

Saturday, Sept. 22: BYE
Thursday, Sept. 27: vs. Stanford
Saturday, Oct. 6: @ Oregon
Saturday, Oct. 13: vs. USC
Saturday, Oct. 20: @ Arizona
Saturday, Oct. 27: vs. Oregon State
Friday, Nov. 2: @ California
Saturday, Nov. 10: vs. Utah
Saturday, Nov. 17: @ Colorado
Friday, Nov. 23: @ Washington State

The Pac-12 title game will be played Nov. 30 at the home field of the team with the best record.
