Kyle Seager will get a slight breather in the Mariners’ series finale with Cleveland, as he is penciled in as the designated hitter. He will still hit out of his customary No. 5 spot.
Luis Sardinas will fill in at third base for Seager, while Nathan Karns is on the mound for Seattle.
The game is set for 7:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle, with the pregame show starting at 6. Also on Thursday, the Mariners will make their first two picks of the MLB Draft, which begins at 4. They have the No. 11 selection in the first round and No. 50 overall pick in the second round.
