UPDATE: Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson is officially listed as questionable to play Sunday on Friday’s official injury report.
For the second week in a row, the question of which quarterback starts for the Seahawks on Sunday will come down to the wire.
During Friday’s Pete Carroll Show on 97.3 KIRO FM, Carroll said Charlie Whitehurst is being prepared to start Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but hasn’t yet ruled out Tarvaris Jackson.
Jackson missed last week’s game against Cleveland as he continues to recover from a strained pectoral suffered against the New York Giants three weeks ago.
If Jackson is unable to play Sunday, Carroll noted this would be the first time Whitehurst has started two consecutive games in his entire NFL career.
