SEATTLE MARINERS
Lineups: Mariners-Orioles, Game 2
May 18, 2016, 12:44 PM
Taijuan Walker was dominant in his last start until a disastrous fifth inning derailed him. The Mariners bailed him out in that game last Wednesday against the Rays, delivering a victory on Chris Iannetta’s extra-inning walkoff home run, and a week later Walker will look to return the favor.
Walker and his 2.63 ERA will face another of the American League’s best pitchers so far this season in Baltimore’s Chris Tillman, who has a slightly better 2.58 ERA to go with a 5-1 record. As for the lineup, the Mariners are sticking with the same batting order as in Tuesday’s win – makes sense, considering they put up a 10-spot on Baltimore in the series opener.
Wednesday’s Game 2 of the series begins at 4:05 on 710 ESPN Seattle, with the pregame show starting at 3.
