The Seahawks’ odds of making the playoffs improved to just over 90 percent following their 43-16 win over the San Francisco 49ers Sunday, but with four games left to play, there are still plenty of questions for this Seahawks team. Head coach Pete Carroll tried to answer a few of those during his Monday morning interview with Brock Huard and Mike Salk on 710 ESPN Seattle.

O’Neil: What we learned from Seahawks’ Week 13 win

The most pressing injury concerns surround running back Chris Carson and right guard D.J. Fluker, both of whom were forced out of Sunday’s game in the fourth quarter. Carroll later said Carson suffered a dislocated finger, but would be OK. Fluker’s status, on the other hand, remains uncertain and more serious.

“He’s got a legitimate hamstring,” Carroll said Monday. “We’ve got to figure out what that means. We don’t know (yet). He’s just coming out of testing by early afternoon today, so we don’t know until then.”

Here’s what else Carroll had to say during his interview with Brock and Salk:

• How good was Bobby Wagner? “Wow, what a game. What a game. And so many aspects of it, too. It wasn’t just the plays that are standing out. He was all over the place and running the show and really right in his element, man. He had a great football game.”

• There was a suggestion made after the game that you make things simple for Russell Wilson. What should we make of that? “That’s not even close to being true. That might be what somebody else said, but (Wilson) is in command of all kinds of stuff. We’re so far beyond that, that’s not even close.”

How about the big plays from the 49ers? How do you tighten up that protection? “Well we made a big bust on the big 75-yarder. That was a mistake on that one. It’s easily fixed, it just shouldn’t happen. But the screen plays really got us. We stopped a couple of them nicely and then we did not play a couple of them well. That was kind of a factor. It’s pretty easy for a team to complete a screen. That’s a combination of the guys up front have to feel it, and not just go rush the passer… it’s the coverage, and it’s also how you force it and attack. We’ve got to do a better job in all areas and we can’t let that be such a big factor against us.”
