Former Seahawks TE Luke Willson’s return to Danny, Dave and Moore does not disappoint

Luke Willson was known for a number of things over his five years as Seattle Seahawks tight end that had absolutely nothing to do with football.
For example, he thinks the moon landing was faked. He doesn’t really care for dogs. He’s overwhelmingly Canadian. And he was the brains behind the Seahawks’ Techno Thursday, a phenomenon that took over the team’s practices in 2017.
All of those things were topics covered extensively during Willson’s many guest spots with 710 ESPN Seattle’s Danny, Dave and Moore. Therefore, it was only fitting that with the Seahawks set to play Willson’s Detroit Lions on Sunday for the first time since he left Seattle in free agency last offseason, he called in to the show to discuss those same topics and a get into a bunch more shenanigans.
Among the other subjects of conversation: Willson taking umbrage with rookie Seahawks tight end Will Dissly quickly being declared Willson’s replacement as Danny, Dave and Moore’s favorite player to interview, Willson’s kind gesture of buying pastries for the Seahawks media room on Thursday, and the main event: the whole story of how an outing with his friends in Vancouver was the genesis of his idea for Techno Thursday.
