Reports: No suspensions expected for Seahawks-Jaguars fights

No members of the Seahawks will be suspended as a result of multiple skirmishes with the Jaguars at the end of Seattle’s 30-24 loss Sunday in Jacksonville, according to multiple reports.

The NFL is “still reviewing melee under standard process, per league official,” ESPN’s Adam Schefter wrote in a tweet Tuesday afternoon.

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network tweeted that the actions of both Seahawks and Jaguars players “are being reviewed for possible disciple,” though there will be no suspensions.

Two Seahawks – Sheldon Richardson and Quinton Jefferson – were disqualified during Jacksonville’s final offensive series on Sunday, and Michael Bennett was also flagged for an unnecessary roughness penalty on a play in which Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles took a knee to run the clock out.
