Lineups: Nelson Cruz in RF again in Game 2 of Mariners-Angels

Aug 16, 2016, 3:41 PM

Nelson Cruz will play right field again Tuesday as the Mariners continue to use Seth Smith as the designated hitter.

Smith was the DH Monday and was scratched from the lineup Sunday after sustaining a bruise from hitting a foul ball off his foot on Saturday. This will the third game in a row in right field for Cruz, who crushed a massive homer that was the difference in Monday’s game. Cruz had spent the previous 12 games at DH.

Left-hander Ariel Miranda will make his second start for Seattle in the 7:05 game, which will air live on 710 ESPN Seattle. The pregame show begins at 6.
