Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas, a Pro Bowl starter in each of the past two seasons, has lofty aspirations as he enters his fourth year in the NFL.

“I definitely want to be the best in this league,” he told “Brock and Danny” on Monday, shortly after the Seahawks began offseason workouts.

The Seahawks, like their Pro Bowl free safety, are looking to take the next step as they approach the 2013 season as what many consider Super Bowl contenders.

In the video below, Brock Huard and Danny O’Neil discuss the state of the Seahawks and Thomas’ hopes of ascending to the top of the safety ranks in the NFL.
