The Seahawks hosted Texas defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat this week, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
Sweat is a very intriguing prospect as he measured in at the NFL combine at 6 foot 4 and a whopping 366 pounds. Sweat also moves really well for a man of his size, running the 40-yard dash at 5.27 seconds with an 8-foot-2-inch broad jump.
Sweat won the Outland Trophy in 2023 as the best interior lineman in the country, and he was also a unanimous All-American and the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
On top of potential concerns about just how big Sweat is, he faces off the field questions, too. He recently was arrested for driving while intoxicated, with his blood-alcohol concentration reportedly .105, more than 25% over the legal limit of .08 in Texas.
Sweat was the focus of Bump and Stacy’s latest Seattle Seahawks Draft Profile on Thursday, where they discussed Sweat, his visit with the Hawks and much more.
