Carlsbad's Zachary Marshall (11) and teammates celebrate beating Poway after their Open Division playoff high school football game on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 in Carlsbad, Calif. Marshall, a tight end from Carlsbad (California) High School, committed to Michigan in mid-August but said the news about USC and UCLA didn’t impact his decision. The addition of USC and UCLA to the Big Ten increases the likelihood he’d play at least one game in his home state. (Meg McLaughlin/The San Diego Union-Tribune via AP)
