Dustin Ackley is back in the Mariners’ lineup for tonight’s game against Texas after injuring his thumb while diving for a fly ball on Saturday.

As Shannon Drayer discusses in the video above, learning how to protect himself from such injuries is part of Ackley’s transition from second base to center field.
