Seattle Seahawks team president Chuck Arnold has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the franchise through 2027, the Seahawks announced Wednesday afternoon in a press release.

Huard: Hawks’ priority is to extend Adams before free agency’s 3rd wave

Arnold, who will begin his 27th season with the team this year, has been team president for the past three seasons.

“Chuck continues to do an exceptional job working with and supporting the football operation while assuring that the entire Seahawks organization remains an engaged and invested community leader unafraid to tackle tough challenges in our region,” said Jody Allen, chair of the Seahawks, in the press release. “Stability, quality, and consistency of leadership is a key ingredient to our continued success and winning culture. I remain excited for the future of this organization both on and off the field.”

Arnold’s extension also applies to his role as president of First & Goal Inc.

As president of the Seahawks and First & Goal, Arnold “oversees all financial and business operations, sales, marketing, and administration for the Seahawks, as well as directs the management of Lumen Field, the Lumen Field Event Center, and WAMU Theater,” per the press release.

Arnold is a Tacoma native and Washington State University alum who started his career with the franchise as an intern in 1994. He served as CEO from 2013 until his promotion to president in September 2018.
