The Seattle Mariners will soon begin welcoming fans back at T-Mobile Park for the first time since 2019, with the initial round of single-game tickets going on sale Wednesday morning.

With Washington now in Phase 3 of Gov. Jay Inslee’s reopening plan, the Mariners can host up to 9,000 fans per game for the first 11 games of the season, approaching nearly 20% total capacity. If vaccinations continue to trend up while COVID cases trend down, the state might consider allowing more capacity in the games to follow.

For ticket-buying purposes, that means fans will be able to buy in “small, socially distanced pods” of 1 to 6 people. All members of that pod must be members of the same household.

The initial round of tickets the team sells will only encompass those first 11 games, while “tickets for future games will be made available as local regulations about capacity for outdoor venues continue to evolve.” Season-ticket holders will have first priority for those tickets, followed by Wednesday presales for existing subscribers of Mariners Mail.

Any remaining single-game tickets will be available to the general public starting on March 25, while Mariners Team Stores will start selling tickets on March 27.

All tickets will be digital, with the team eschewing physical, printed tickets “to reduce contact and opportunities for cross contamination between fans and staff.”

All 9,000 available tickets to opening night have sold out.
