Bennett may take a page out of Kaepernick’s book

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Michael Bennett has in mind an awfully nice way of celebrating a sack of Colin Kaepernick should he bring down the 49ers quarterback Sunday night.
“I might kiss my muscles,” Bennett told 710 ESPN Seattle’s “The Huddle” Thursday.
That, of course, is a reference to Kaepernick’s signature touchdown celebration, the biceps-kissing move he actually filed to trademark during his breakout 2012 season.
Truth is, though, Bennett is more worried about getting to Kaepernick than what he might do once he gets there. And given what should be a hellaciously noisy crowd whenever San Francisco has the ball Sunday night, Bennett has a good chance at getting there.
CenturyLink Field is already a pass-rusher’s dream, a stadium considered the loudest in the NFL whenever Seattle’s defense is on the field. Not only will the Seahawks be hosting their biggest rival in a primetime game that’s as highly anticipated as any in recent memory, but Seattle’s fans will have the added motivation of setting the Guinness world record for crowd noise.
“It’s going to be loud,” Bennett said.
And it’s not going to be conducive to pass protection, at least not for the 49ers.
San Francisco has what could be the NFL’s best offensive line, a unit that features three former first-round picks and two players coming off Pro Bowl seasons. And the Seahawks only had one sack last week while playing with several backup defensive linemen.
The good news for Seattle: reinforcements could be on the way.
While Bruce Irvin is still serving a four-game suspension, Cliff Avril is expected to make his 2013 debut after missing the opener with a hamstring injury. Chris Clemons was a full participant in practice Thursday as well, an indication that he could play Sunday for the first time since offseason knee surgery.
