Russell Wilson played one of the better games of his career in Seattle’s win over Carolina on Saturday, completing 15 of 22 attempts for 268 yards, three touchdowns and a 149.2 quarterback rating.
A key on a number of the plays he made was getting the ball out of his hands quickly, something he’s been focusing on of late.
“I think it’s probably been four or five weeks that we really made it a big emphasis,” coach Pete Carroll said Monday. “We thought we could really pick up our tempo some and he’s really jumped on it. Every game there has been four or five throws that are really just great rhythm throws that I think are showing up more.”
One of those plays was Wilson’s 25-yard touchdown pass to tight end Luke Willson, which Brock Huard breaks down in this week’s Chalk Talk video.
