Mariners recall Nick Franklin, place Corey Hart on DL

The Mariners have recalled Nick Franklin from Triple-A Tacoma and placed Corey Hart on the 15-day disabled list.
According to 710 ESPN Seattle’s Shannon Drayer, Hart suffered what has been diagnosed as a Grade 2 hamstring strain while running the bases in Sunday’s game.
Franklin hit .125 during a seven-game stint with the Mariners earlier this season but has a .376 average with 14 extra-base hits in 30 games with the Rainiers.
He’ll be in uniform for tonight’s series opener against the Rangers in Arlington.
