Davis is the second reported loss of the day in free agency for the Seahawks. Cornerback Justin Coleman is said to have a deal in place with the Detroit Lions.

The 26-year-old Davis joined the Seahawks in 2017 after two seasons with the 49ers. He rushed for a then-career-high 240 yards his first year in Seattle, then more than doubled that output with 514 yards in 2018. He finished last season with four touchdowns and rushed for a career-best 101 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in a Week 3 win over Arizona.
Davis, a fourth-round NFL Draft pick by the 49ers out of South Carolina in 2015, served along with Rashaad Penny as the backup to starting Seahawks running back Chris Carson in 2018.
