Well, the Groz was perfect with his predictions last week, and he still has no fear…
UW vs. Oregon State: We got the Husky game right last week though expected more of a tussle. This week looks a lot tougher. even the the Beavers are down a ‘Rodgers’ this is still a very talented team that over the years always seems to get better as the year goes on. The second best record to USC over the past 4 years in the Pac 10 belongs to Oregon State at 35-17. They know how to win and usually do. their defensive front may be a big key in this one. For the Huskies, well we thought they’d be demoralized after the Nebraska butt-kicking but instead responded with a terrific performance against USC. But Arizona State may have revealed a few ways to beat the Huskies and are not as talented as USC which made it even more disappointing. Its a game the Huskies have to have to make it to a bowl game. Sorry Jake
O.S.U. 35 UW 24
Cougars vs Arizona: A 20 point loss that feels good? I’d say that was the case for WSU last week as they managed to give Oregon a bit of a tussle on homecoming weekend. Now the Dad’s go over to see the true dark horse of the PAc-10 Mike Stoops Arizona Wildcats. Stoops is a maniac on the sidelines, a true wild man and his team yells at him and with him all game long. It makes them look fairly together out there and they were able to survive a tough battle against California a couple of weeks ago. That game, which everyone expected to be high scoring was not, 10-9. The kind of win this program hasn’t been getting over the recent years. Thier only loss to Oregon State last week. This week they bounce back
Arizona 31 WSU 14
Seahawks vs Bears: Refreshed after the bye week the Seahawks are amazingly healthy coming into this game with the Bears. That’s the good news. The bad news is almost everything else. The Bears are atop the NFC at 4-1 and won by 17 last week with a 3rd string quarterback. Their D is tough as always with the best linebacking corps in football and Julius Peppers too. Jay Cutler is back to direct Mike Martz’ big play offense. Oh and with Devin Hester their special teams are just as good as the Seahawks…..but….. 9 sacks in the first half against the Giants, Seahawks strength is rushing the passer. Tendency to turn it over, ‘Hawks are good at that too. Their o-line is beat up and they have no idea what Marshawn Lynch looks like for the Seahawks(neither do we) Maybe there is something in the air, maybe I’m just an idiot, but I smell an upset.
Seattle 27 Chicago 21
Last week: 3-0; Season:14-4
