As head coach Pete Carroll prepares his team to face the defending world champion New Orleans Saints this Saturday at Qwest Field, the Seahawks Huddle kicked off live from the VMAC for a special postseason show with The Groz, Dave Wyman, and Ray Roberts.

DT Colin Cole kicked off the Huddle discussing how they will defend a high-powered Saints offense without RB’s Chris Ivory and Pierre Thomas who were placed on season-ending injured reserve earlier in the week.

LB Will Herring talked about his game-clinching interception of Rams QB Sam Bradford last Sunday, ensuring the Seahawks a fifth NFC West title in the last seven years.

Rookie CB Walter Thurmond discussed his excitement getting to play in the postseason after spending his senior season of college on the sidelines with an injury.

Seahawks DE Raheem Brock played against Drew Brees and the Saints in the Super Bowl last season with the Colts, and discussed the importance of having experience against a familiar opponent.

Defensive coordinator Gus Bradley discussed how he plans to attack a high-powered offense led by head coach Sean Payton.

The voice of the Seahawks, Steve Raible talked about why coach Pete Carroll chose Matt Hasselbeck to start Saturday’s game instead of backup Charlie Whitehurst.

Clare Farnsworth of Seahawks.com expressed his excitement getting to cover a playoff team for the first time since 2007.

Tony Ventrella of Seahawks.com recapped the transition from former coach Jim Mora to current coach Pete Carroll, who brought the team to the playoffs in his first season.

ESPN NFC West blogger Mike Sando discussed who will be the next head coach of the San Francisco 49ers, and whether it will be Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh.

Remember, you can listen to every podcast of the show, right here.
