Friday Rewind: Wildcard playoff primer

With less than 24 hours until the Seahawks and Saints kick off the NFL playoffs at Qwest Field, today’s show was fully dedicated to previewing each game of Wildcard playoff weekend.

“The Professor” John Clayton gave his take on each playoff game, and examined why Saints RB Reggie Bush struggles in cold weather environments.

Tom James of the Terre Haute Tribune-Star previewed Saturday night’s AFC Wildcard game between the New York Jets and Indianapolis Colts.

Ray LewisAdam Teicher, Chiefs beat reporter for the Kansas City Star, examined whether quarterback Matt Cassel can handle an aggressive Ravens defense led by All-Pro veteran’s Ray Lewis (left) and Ed Reed for their AFC wildcard playoff game this Sunday.

Joe Platania, who covers the Ravens for CSNBaltimore.com, discussed whether or not quarterback Joe Flacco can lead the Ravens to a road playoff victory for a third straight season.

Bill Huber, publisher for Packer Report Magazine, let us know what he thinks about Sunday’s NFC wildcard playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and if Green Bay will be able to defend QB Michael Vick.

Dave Spadaro, writer for PhiladelphiaEagles.com, discussed how the fan base will react this Sunday if the Packers upset the Eagles in their Wildcard playoff game at Lincoln Financial Field.

FSN’s Angie Mentink joined The Groz in-studio to give her take on Saturday’s NFC Wildcard playoff game between the Seahawks and defending champion New Orleans Saints.

Bert Klasey, WSU blogger for MyNorthwest.com, recapped last night’s 84-70 Cougar victory over the Oregon State Beavers and how they will fare against the Oregon Ducks this Saturday.
