On today’s show, Brock provided three key matchups on both sides of the ball the Seahawks need to win this Sunday against Arizona.
Offensively, Brock is looking for both T.J. Houshmandzadeh and Nate Burleson to play with a chip on their shoulder since there is always “lots of talk about the Arizona receivers,” the Hawks offensive guards to contain Darnell Dockett and the rest of the front seven, and Matt Hasselbeck winning the chess match with Arizona safety Adrian Wilson.
On the defensive side of the ball, Brock believes the DE’s for Seattle must beat the Cardinals’ offensive tackles to put pressure on Kurt Warner. Helping that first matchup will be the 12th Man, and Brock wants them to maintain a high energy level throughout the game considering Lawrence Jackson said yesterday the crowd’s energy makes him feel “…like they’re standing right behind me.” Lastly, Josh Wilson must play well when he is lined up as the Nickel cornerback.
