Chalk Talk with Brock is a weekly feature in which Brock Huard will break down some aspect of football. Whether it be a few plays from the the Huskies or Seahawks game or a more general football concept, Brock will explain it in terms an average football fan can understand.
This week Brock breaks down a play from the third quarter of the Seahawks’ loss to the Bucs on Sunday. On the play, Charlie Whitehurst was forced to tuck the ball and run when he couldn’t find an open receiver.
The play wasn’t all that consequential, but as Brock explains, it illustrated Whitehurst’s inexperience and lack of feel for the quarterback position.
