Chalk Talk with Brock is a weekly feature in which Brock Huard will break down some aspect of football. Whether it be a few plays from the the Huskies or Seahawks game or a more general football concept, Brock will explain it in terms an average football fan can understand.
This week Brock breaks down the 38-yard touchdown pass from Matt Hasselbeck to Mike Williams in the third quarter of the Seahawks win over the Saints. Third and short has haunted the Seahawks all season long, but as Brock explains, a slight hesitation by Saints safety Darren Sharper and a perfect throw from Hasselbeck made the touchdown possible.
Hasselbeck had this to say about the play when he joined Brock & Salk on Monday.
You can see the play right here.
Later this week Brock will break down another play from this game as well as one you might see in Sunday’s game against the Bears.
