The Mariners debut of Marco Gonzales will have to wait a day.
The third game of Seattle’s series in Kansas City set for Saturday night has been postponed due to rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday beginning at 11:15 a.m. on 710 ESPN Seattle. Gonzales will start the first game, while Erasmo Ramirez will take the mound for the M’s in the nightcap.

Gonzales, a 25-year-old southpaw, was set to start Saturday’s game after being recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday morning. He replaced Felix Hernandez, who was scratched from his scheduled start and put on the 10-day disabled list due to right biceps tendinitis.
Gonzales was acquired last month in a trade with the St. Louis Cardinals for outfield prospect Tyler O’Neill. He last played in the majors in 2015, having undergone and recovered from Tommy John surgery in the interim.
Tune in to 710 ESPN Seattle at 10 a.m. for the pregame show Sunday.
