Guillermo Heredia will man center field for the Mariners behind Andrew Moore in the 23-year-old right-hander’s major league debut in the series finale against the Detroit Tigers at 7:10 on 710 ESPN Seattle.
Heredia, who owns a .328/.377/.438 slash line this season against left-handers, will bat eighth against Detroit southpaw Daniel Norris.

The Mariners will hit Mitch Haniger second and Ben Gamel seventh, switching their spots from a day ago against a right-handed starter.
