Chris Gweth wrote his name into the SU record book in style. He crossed over the elusive 1,000 point barrier while guiding Seattle to a badly needed win over the pesky Utah Valley University Wolverines. Gweth was in doubles for the 11th straight game with 12 points, but he had to overcome unusual struggles from the outside. Gweth just knocked down 4-12 from the field and 1-6 from downtown despite a handful of precious open looks. Gweth recovered to nail a clutch bucket down the stretch to guide Seattle to the home win. SU snapped their two game losing streak both overall and at home. Gweth became the 34 player in Seattle history to go over 1,000 points.
