The Seahawks want to get their rushing attack going again on offense. It’ll be a little tougher to do that this weekend against the Carolina Panthers as Seattle is without its two top running backs.

Star rookie Kenneth Walker III and No. 2 back DeeJay Dallas are both inactive for the Week 14 clash due to ankle injuries. Both were listed as questionable to play heading into the weekend.
Walker has been one of the NFL’s top running backs since taking over the lead back role for the injured Rashaad Penny, rushing for 649 yards and nine touchdowns this season with most of the production coming since Week 5.
With both Walker and Dallas out, the Seahawks will turn to fourth-year back Travis Homer and Tony Jones Jr., the latter of whom joined Seattle in October after Penny’s season-ending injury. The Seahawks also added running back Godwin Igwebuike off the practice squad for this week.
It’s unclear how the running back rotation will work for Seattle against Carolina, but according to multiple reports, Jones is expected to be the Seahawks’ lead back.
Walker and Dallas were two of five Seahawks questionable to play, but the good news is the other three will play. That trio is receiver DK Metcalf (hip), tight end Will Dissly (calf) and safety Ryan Neal (knee).
Defensive lineman Shelby Harris is also inactive, with Jordan Schultz reporting the veteran is out due to an illness.
Rounding out Seahawks’ inactives list are cornerback Justin Coleman, cornerback Artie Burns, receiver Penny Hart and offensive tackle Jake Curhan.
