Of the four Seahawks who were listed as questionable to suit up against the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football, only one will be playing in the primetime showdown.
Brock Huard: What Seahawks should do to get offense going
Running back Alex Collins (groin) is active for the Seahawks after rushing for over 100 yards last week against a stout Pittsburgh Steelers defense. He was the first Seattle player to rush for 100 or more yards in a game since Week 15 of 2019.
Starting left guard Damien Lewis (shoulder), defensive end Darrell Taylor (neck) and reserve cornerback John Reid (knee) will not play against New Orleans, however.
Backup quarterback Jacob Eason, who the Seahawks added off waivers last week, and rookie offensive tackle Stone Forsythe are healthy scratches, as is 2019 first-round defensive end L.J. Collier, who has now been inactive for five of the Seahawks’ seven games in 2021 after starting every game for Seattle in 2020.

Collins’ presence is big for the Seahawks, who already have top running back Chris Carson on injured reserve due to a neck injury. The Seahawks will also get 2018 first-round running back Rashaad Penny back for the first time since Week 1, as he returns from IR after being out since Week 1 with a calf injury.
To make room for Penny on the active roster, the Seahawks waived tackle Cedric Ogbuehi on Monday.
For Taylor, he suffered what appeared to be a scary neck injury against the Steelers last Sunday. He was carted off the field and taken by ambulance to a Pittsburgh hospital, but head coach Pete Carroll sounded optimistic last last week that Taylor would play against the Saints. With Taylor out, the Seahawks are without their top pass rusher as he has four of the team’s 11 sacks this year.
Lewis was also removed from the game against the Steelers with a shoulder injury, with Jamarco Jones filling in for him the rest of the way. That likely is the case again as Jones is listed as the backup at both guard positions as well as left tackle.
Reid has only played special teams for the Seahawks this year and has yet to appear on defense.
Eason was added to the Seahawks’ 53-man roster last week, but Seattle added Jake Luton off the practice squad on Monday to serve as Geno Smith’s backup.
With Forsythe out, that leaves Jones and undrafted rookie free agent Jake Curhan as potential tackle options should anything happen to left tackle Duane Brown or right tackle Brandon Shell.
For Collier, it continues a disappointing run in his third NFL season, and per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Collier could be a name to watch ahead of the NFL trade deadline on Nov. 2.
For the Saints, they’re without starting receiver Deonte Harris and backup quarterback/offensive weapon Taysom Hill, among others. Their full inactive list is below.
