The Seahawks have added a veteran to their young secondary, signing former Packers strong safety Atari Bigby.
The team announced the signing on Tuesday. To make room on the roster, the team released fullback Dorson Boyce, an undrafted free agent out of the University of Washington.
Bigby, 29, has 10 interceptions in six NFL seasons, all with the Packers. He has missed 24 games over the last three seaons due to injuries. He played in four games in 2010.
Bigby was undrafted in 2005 out of Central Florida.
