How much is Zduriencik at fault for Mariners’ struggles?

Bob Stelton and Dave Grosby spoke with Brian Kenny of MLB Network on Monday for a national perspective on the Mariners, who are on pace for 94 losses as they sit at the half-way point of the 2012 season.
Kenny admitted that he hasn’t watched Eric Wedge closely enough to give a fair assessment of the job he’s done this season, but offered a more general thought on the role a manager plays in a team’s success.
“It’s a G.M.’s game,” he said. “There’s only so much you can do [as a manager] with what you’re given.”
By the same token, Stelton and Grosby think general manager Jack Zduriencik isn’t the person most responsible for the Mariners’ struggles in 2012. They explain why in the video below.
