The Seahawks have accepted announcer Warren Moon’s request to take a leave from his position.

Here is a statement released by the Seahawks:

Moon, a former NFL quarterback and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, is reportedly being sued for sexual harassment by a former employee, according to a story published by the Washington Post on Wednesday.

A California woman alleges Moon required her to wear thong underwear and share his bed while traveling, per the Post. It also reports the lawsuit alleges Moon grabbed the woman’s crotch during a trip to Seattle and that he pulled her bathing suit off after slipping a drug into her drink while on a trip to Mexico.

According to the Post, the woman was hired as Moon’s executive assistant in July and was demoted in October after complaining of his sexual advances.

Moon was arrested in 1995 after his wife reported to police that he slapped and choked her at their home.

A Seahawks employee, Moon has been the team’s color commentator on its radio broadcasts since 2004. The Seahawks’ games are broadcast on 710 ESPN Seattle and KIRO Radio 97.3.
