After a stretch of awful injury luck, the Seahawks could see several players return to action this Sunday night against the Eagles. Cornerback Shaquill Griffin (concussion) will slide back into the secondary, while running back Mike Davis and defensive end Dion Jordan could also see playing time.

Wyman’s Football 101: Bobby Wagner for Defensive MVP?

Davis – who was activated from Seattle’s practice squad Nov. 14 – had six carries for 18 yards (3.0 average) and another two catches for 41 yards in Seattle’s Week 11 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. He missed last week with a groin injury.

“We’ll find out. He’ll practice today and we’ll get him out there and see how he’s going. We’re anxious to see if he can fit back in,” Carroll told reporters Wednesday.

The team may not decide on his status until the end of the week. Carroll was happy with what he saw from Davis in his debut, though.

“He showed a real spark reading the line of scrimmage; he showed some creativity that got him some extra space on a couple runs and he couldn’t have been more aggressive in the opportunity that he had.”

A couple other injury notes:

• A decision will also be made later this week on the status of tight end Luke Willson (concussion).

• Right guard Oday Aboushi (shoulder) is “making progress,” but there has otherwise been no change in his status – meaning he’ll likely miss additional time.

• Defensive end Jordan (neck/shoulder) missed last week but Carroll said he “has a chance” to return.
