710 ESPN Seattle’s Brock Huard is joining the television broadcast booth for Seahawks preseason games beginning in August, the team announced Wednesday.
Huard, who spent four seasons as a quarterback with the Seahawks, will join play-by-play announcer Curt Menefee as an analyst on the preseason telecasts. That role was filled the last two seasons by Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon, who will join the voice of the Seahawks, Steve Raible, on preseason radio broadcasts, which are heard on 710 ESPN Seattle and 97.3 KIRO FM.
The Seahawks’ preseason opener is Thursday, Aug. 8 against the Chargers in San Diego. They host the Broncos the following week then play the Packers in Green Bay in a nationally televised game before closing out the preseason at home against the Raiders.
