Video: Macklemore performs at Seahawks’ party

By Brady Henderson

Not that we needed any visual evidence that the Seahawks’ post-Super Bowl party was as raucous as they described it, but we have some.

The video above, shared by Kirk Sperry, shows Grammy award winner and Seattle native Macklemore performing “Can’t Hold Us”, the song that’s now played after every Seahawks touchdown. Macklemore started by thanking the team for its support of him and music partner Ryan Lewis.

Pete Carroll, the Seahawks’ 62-year-old coach, even made an appearance on stage. The “white-haired party animal” – which is what Super Bowl MVP Malcolm Smith called Carroll – is seen bouncing around with Macklemore during the performance.

The video also includes highlights of Seattle’s Super Bowl victory over Denver.
