The Seahawks announced a pair of roster moves on Monday, waiving running back Demitrius Bronson with an injury designation and signing wide receiver Deshon Foxx.
Bronson has been dealing with a hamstring injury. The Kent native and Eastern Washington University product was signed as an undrafted free agent last summer and spent most of his rookie season on the Seahawks’ practice squad.
Foxx is a rookie from UConn, where he caught 73 passes for 918 yards and three touchdowns in 38 career games. Foxx is listed at 5 feet 10 and 177 pounds. He took part in Seattle’s rookie minicamp on a tryout basis and becomes the sixth such player the team has since signed to a contract. The others are defensive tackle T.Y. McGill, guard Kona Schwenke, defensive end Julius Warmsley, linebacker Tyrell Adams and fullback Brandon Cottom.
