Seahawks new coaching hires include former QB Austin Davis

The Seahawks officially announced the newest additions to their coaching staff Friday.
What should we make of Hawks’ moves in strength & conditioning?
Seattle confirmed the hiring of Ivan Lewis as head strength and conditioning coach. Lewis, 40, had previously served as USC’s strength and conditioning coach from 2014-18, and before that was in the same role with the University of Washington from 2009-13.
Lewis replaces Chris Carlisle, who was fired by Seattle in January. (Coincidentally, Lewis worked as an assistant for Carlisle at USC from 2006-08.)
Joining the Seahawks’ coaching staff as an offensive assistant is former quarterback Austin Davis. Davis, 29, spent the 2017 season with Seattle as Russell Wilson’s backup. He remained on the roster in 2018, though was placed on the injured reserve list in September.
Additional hires include strength and conditioning assistants Jamie Yanchar, Mark Philipp, Thomas Garcia and Grant Steen. Former assistant athletic trainer David Stricklin has been promoted to head athletic trainer.
