Friday night was the deadline for teams to finalize their 40-man roster ahead of the Rule 5 Draft. The team made moves recently to clear space, outrighting Anthony Vasquez to AAA, removing Jeff Gray from the roster and losing him to the Twins, who claimed him off waivers, releasing David Aardsma, and granting a release to Luis Rodriguez as well.

The team added Carlos Triunfel, Francisco Martinez and Chih-Hsien Chiang to the 40-man roster, which now stands at 38.
