by Nat the Intern

It was a Friday unlike any other with the guys today. Brock and Salk brought it as strong as they ever have with dynamite guests and great callers to boot. Mariners first basemen Russell Branyan, catcher Rob Johnson and GM Jack Zduriencik all joined the show to weigh in on the Mariners most recent victory and year to date. U.S.S. Mariner’s Dave Cameron stopped his day to join the guys for trade talk and Mariners insider Shannon Drayer broke the Yuniesky Betancourt trade news on our air as well.

On the show Russell Branyan took part of his time to reflect on yesterday’s victory saying,
“You know we were staring down the barrell of a 1-0 loss, and you know to be able to put something together in the 8th innning there and for Franklin to step up and hit the ball to the deepest part of the ballpark; it was almost like it was meant to be.”

Jack Zduriencik also took time in his busy today to talk to Brock and Salk with reflections on the Betancourt trade. To hear the words of the man who made the trade himself or any of the unbelievable interviews from today’s show in their entirety, click the name of who you would like to listen to with the guys below.
