Help Producer Colin fight cancer!

Nov 19, 2010, 7:56 AM | Updated: Apr 4, 2011, 7:52 pm

We’re just going to come right out and say it, cancer sucks.

Which is why our producer, Colin Paisley is growing a mustache. Yeah, we know, when he told us his plan we thought it was just another of his totally worthless ideas… But as it turns out, it’s actually a really cool way to raise money for cancer research, but he needs your help.

He is participating in the Mustaches vs Cancer campaign, which raises money for the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York, which is one of the leading cancer research and treatment centers in the country.

How it works is a bunch of like-minded folks are growing mustaches and collecting donations for said mustaches with all the proceeds going to fight cancer.

If you are so inclined to donate to the cause via, Colin Paisley’s mustache (you can view his ‘stache and donate here) we’ll throw in an incentive. If you donate $200 you will receive an in-studio sit-in for the Brock and Salk show, you can come peer behind the curtain and see where all the radio magic happens, mid-magic! Also, for the first 10 people to donate $50 or more, we’ll send you a 710 ESPN Seattle t-shirt (which Brock and Mike and Colin’s Mustache (optional) will autograph for you). All you have to do is donate on the site and forward your confirmation email to brockandsalk@espnseattle.com and we’ll take care of you.

Please help Colin out and much more importantly help the cause of finding a way to eliminate cancer forever!
