Wagner has been dealing with a strained hamstring for nearly a month now. He left last week’s game in Jacksonville in the third quarter after aggravating the injury.
Fellow linebacker K.J. Wright is inactive for the game following a concussion he sustained last week against the Jaguars. On Monday, head coach Pete Carroll seemed optimistic that Wright would recover, but symptoms of the concussion either did not subside or recurred and he did not practice this week.
Wright was listed as doubtful coming into the weekend. So was rookie defensive tackle Naz Jones, who is also inactive. The other inactives for Seattle are running back Thomas Rawls, center Joey Hunt, receiver David Moore, defensive tackle Garrison Smith and cornerback Mike Tyson.
The Rams get a pair of key contributors back as linebacker Connor Barwin returns after missing two games because of a broken arm and receiver Robert Woods is back after being out the past three games with a shoulder injury.
The Rams inactive players: quarterback Brandon Allen, running back Lance Dunbar, defensive back Isaiah Johnson, running back Justin Davis, linebacker Carlos Thompson, linebacker Cameron Lynch and tackle Cornelius Lucas.
