One word to describe Lynch’s postgame media session? ‘Yeah’

Marshawn Lynch wasn’t exactly a man of few words when he met with the media Sunday.
It was more like one word: “Yeah.”
That made up the majority of Lynch’s responses during a postgame media session following the Seahawks’ win over Arizona. Seattle’s running back is appealing a $100,000 fine from the NFL for violating the league’s media policy, and on Sunday he stuck around in the locker room and satisfied his obligation to speak with reporters by repeatedly using that one-word answer, even to questions that weren’t of the yes-or-no variety.
He did it all while wearing a lumberjack cap from the Elmer Fudd collection and sometimes smiling at the questioner.
The team’s website has the video of an interview that was a quite bizarre, somewhat humorous and not the least bit informative. A sampling of the paraphrased questions and verbatim answers:
Question: How about the effort of Seattle’s offensive line against Arizona?
Lynch: “Yeah.”
Question: How does Arizona’s defense compare to others Seattle has faced?
Lynch: “Yeah.”
Question: What was the issue with your back that sidelined you briefly in the first half?
Lynch: “Yeah.”
The most lengthy response came when Lynch talked about an upcoming charity dinner, the purpose of which is to raise money for a youth center in his hometown of Oakland.
Lynch carried 15 times Sunday for 39 yards and gained 43 yards on three catches.
