The Seahawks announced the signings of eight undrafted free agents on Friday, a couple hours before the start of the team’s three-day rookie minicamp. Most of Seattle’s UDFAs had already been reported to be joining the team, so the Seahawks’ announcement was pretty much a formality.
Seattle’s UDFAs:
• QB Skyler Howard, West Virginia (5-11, 208)
• FB Algernon Brown, BYU (6-0, 235)
• DT Jeremy Liggins, Mississippi (6-3, 315)
• LB Otha Peters, Louisiana-Lafayette (6-0, 238)
• WR Darreus Rogers, USC (6-1, 218)
• G Jordan Roos, Purdue (6-3, 302)
• TE Tyrone Swoopes, Texas (6-4, 250)
• LB Nick Usher, Texas-El Paso (6-3, 235)
The Seahawks were leaving eight spots open on their 90-man offseason roster for the UDFAs, so it’s now full.
Seattle also announced Friday that four of the team’s 11 draft picks have signed their rookie contracts: safety Tedric Thompson (fourth round), tackle Justin Senior (sixth), wide receiver David Moore (seventh) and running back Chris Carson (seventh).
