RENTON – The Seahawks listed defensive lineman Michael Bennett, free safety Earl Thomas and center Justin Britt as full participants in Wednesday’s practice. It’s a good sign for their availability for Sunday night’s game against Carolina after all three missed last week’s game at Tampa Bay.

Cornerback DeShawn Shead and running back Troymaine Pope also missed that game. They were listed as limited in practice Wednesday.

The statuses of Thomas and Shead have seemed to be most up in the air among the four aforementioned starters after coach Pete Carroll said the first-degree hamstring strains they sustained last week against Philadelphia typically come with a recovery period of 10-14 days. The long end of that timetable would put them in jeopardy for the Carolina game, which would be 14 days after they were injured. But Carroll said Shead was nearly able to play against Tampa Bay after having a “very good” workout on Friday and Thomas was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice, so both would seem to have a good chance of playing Sunday night.

Carroll said Monday that Bennett should be back this week after missing the last five games with a knee injury that required arthroscopic surgery. Asked Wednesday if that’s still the plan, Carroll said: “Yes. Again, he’s got to go through practice and see if he can make it through the week and all that. Those guys are all kind of in the same boat.”

Britt missed the Tampa Bay game with an ankle injury but suited up and was available in case of an emergency. Carroll said earlier Wednesday that he looks like he’ll be back this week. His full participation in practice suggests as much.

Pope was also injured in the Philadelphia game, suffering a high-ankle sprain in the second half.

“He looked pretty good,” Carroll said. “We’ll just have to see what happens. I was really surprised how quick he looked just in the walk-through today. We’ll see what happens.”

Tight ends Jimmy Graham and Luke Willson were among seven Seahawks who didn’t practice Wednesday. Graham has routinely been getting Wednesdays off as he continues to come back from a serious knee injury and he has yet to miss a game. Willson injured his knee again on Sunday, suffering what Carroll called a first-degree sprain.

“He’s talking about trying to get back this week,” Carroll said of Willson. “That’s going to be an amazing turnaround if he does, but he’s already running. We’ll see what happens.”

Wide receiver Paul Richardson also didn’t practice because of what was cited as a hamstring injury. Neither did defensive Damontre Moore, who missed Sunday’s game after getting his foot stepped on. Asked if Moore has a chance to play Sunday night, Carroll said: “He thinks he does. Talking to him this morning, he thinks he does. There’s probably seven or eight guys that are going to have to go all the way through to Saturday and get to game time to figure it out. Depending on how they do, we’ll go on with other guys until they show that they can help us.”
