The Seahawks announced on Tuesday they’ve waived defensive end Dexter Davis, a 2010 seventh-round pick whose career has been stunted by injuries.
Davis played in 15 games as a rookie, recording eight tackles and a sack, but hadn’t appeared in a regular-season game since injuring his hip in the 2011 opener. He landed on injured reserve again during training camp last summer.
"Those phones were ringing off the hook," Brock Huard said about the Seattle Seahawks before making their pick at No. 16.
