Huard’s Chalk Talk: Late sack taken by Seahawks emblematic of team’s issues

The Seahawks – and Russell Wilson – have shown many times in the past that they have a knack pulling out wins with late drives. Unfortunately for Seattle, that knack wasn’t there in Sunday’s 17-14 loss to Washington.
In Brock Huard’s latest Chalk Talk video, he shows how the Seahawks’ second-to-last play in their defeat was somewhat of a microcosm of the game for Seattle. On the play, a lack of execution by a Seattle offense that was out of sorts prevented Wilson from finding open tight end Luke Willson to get into field goal position. Instead, Wilson went down on a sack, leaving the Seahawks with one last desperate Hail Mary heave to try to win the game. It ended up falling to the ground incomplete as the game ended.
