If there is anybody in the Seahawks’ corps of wide receivers who can tell when Russell Wilson is on his game, it’s Doug Baldwin.
Seattle’s No. 1 receiver joined Brock and Salk on 710 ESPN Seattle on Monday morning, and through three exhibition games Baldwin feels comfortable saying Wilson is ready for the regular season.
“Russell’s in midseason form right now,” Baldwin said. “He’s doing an extremely efficient job of reading the defense and getting the ball out on time.”

Wilson has completed 29 of 41 pass attempts (70.7 percent) for 447 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Seahawks’ three preseason games, while Baldwin has hauled in six receptions for 114 yards. The seventh-year Stanford product said there has been another factor to help Seattle’s offense sail through the preseason, though.
“You gotta give some credit to our offensive line. They’re giving (Wilson) time to do that, as well,” he said.
Baldwin covered several more topics with Brock and Salk, including his thoughts on rookies Shaquill Griffin and Chris Carson, what people don’t realize about Seattle offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell, and what he thinks about Michael Bennett’s decision to sit for the national anthem.
